Where rare plants and wild curiosity grow

Flitterbug Farm is a living experiment in rural curiosity 🌺

Our working farm is set on nine beautiful acres in LaBelle, Florida, where we cultivate a variety of edible and unusual plants in wild formations that are well-suited to our South Florida climate. 🌈 🌴

Once the home of a commercial insect farm, we still carry our love of bugs, biodiversity, and science-based approaches to sustainability. We have free-range chickens and plan to expand our menagerie to include bees, goats, and alpacas. We grow things you won't find at a grocery store, make small-batch preserves from our own harvests, and share it all through farm boxes and a plant nursery rooted in science, sustainability, and a genuine love of the weird and wonderful. 🤓 🪲

It's a place that sparks questions, inspires creativity, and reminds you that food can be a joyful adventure. 🐓 🍌
